About Us
Community Advancement Services (CAS) is a Maryland nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through safe housing and supportive services. We recognize that many individuals and families face complex challenges that extend beyond the need for housing alone. Economic hardship, homelessness, recovery from addiction, domestic violence, aging, reentry after incarceration, and displacement often require coordinated support to achieve lasting stability.
Our organization was established to address these challenges through a comprehensive, person-centered approach. By combining quality housing with individualized case management and community partnerships, we help residents overcome barriers, strengthen life skills, and build brighter futures.
